Pittsburgh Endocrinology, P.C. is an independent, physician-owned specialty practice serving Beaver County and the greater Pittsburgh area. We focus exclusively on the diagnosis and management of endocrine and metabolic conditions — including diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, adrenal and pituitary disorders, and other hormonal imbalance.
We also provide personalized obesity treatment with lifestyle coaching and medications.

Dr. Nishit Vaghasia is a double board-certified endocrinologist with expertise in the full range of endocrine and metabolic disorders. He has 10 plus years of experience in working in academic setting. He is certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is certified in Obesity Medicine by ABOM.
Dr. Vaghasia earned his medical degree from S.S.R. Medical College, Mauritius and completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) in Pittsburgh, followed by fellowship training in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at Allegheny General Hospital, Allegheny Health Network (AHN). He founded Pittsburgh Endocrinology to practice medicine with time, attention, and continuity for every patient.
His clinical interests include diabetes mellitus, thyroid disease, osteoporosis and metabolic bone disease, lipid disorders, and gender-affirming hormone therapy.

Your First Visit
We see patients within days of calling us — in-office or by telehealth video visit.
Please bring photo ID, insurance card, medication list with doses, recent labs/imaging, referral (if required), and glucose meter/CGM/pump information when applicable.

Insurance
We accept all major insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid.
Coverage and participation can vary by plan and by product within a plan. Please call your insurance company to confirm that Dr. Vaghasia is in network before your visit, and check whether your plan requires a referral from your primary care provider for specialist visits.
